What Engine?
Guys. what do i call a engine whit the exhatutus header that is NOT round.... i want the rectangle sort.. not the round one... what does such engine call?
|
What Engine?
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that the ROUND exhaust ports are found almost exclusively on "Rear Exhaust" engines. The RECTANGLE ports are usually found on the "Side Exhaust" motors.

The OS are obviously very good engines! If you're looking for another option, you may want to look at the Fantom FR12. They are reasonably priced and put out around 1.2 hp.

You need to know what type of shaft your car requires...ie: Pilot, SG. Most manufactures have differernt shaft types in their motors for different clutch setups. You should be able to look in your manual or on Kyosho's web site. Or you could also pull out the old motor, take off the clutch and get a look at the shaft. Hope this helps and good luck

You can buy the Fantoms directly from the Fantom website or from usahobbies.com or stormerhobbies.com
