Steering servo specs. Min torque max time
I'm looking to upgrade my current steering servo in my XXX-bk and I am curious what would be considered good specs for a steering servo for a buggy. What should the minimum torque be and what should the time factor be? Can a steering servo be to fast, possibly causing me to tend to over-steer?

RE: Steering servo specs. Min torque max time
Minimum torque I'd recommend would be about 50in/oz. The buggies don't need a ton of torque like the trucks. The Hitec HS-525MG (.13sec@57in/oz) is a great choice if you are looking for a lot of bang for the buck. It sells for around $35 and has metal gears.
The speed of the servo is like anything else... you just have to get used to it.
Mike.
