Default Futaba 3PM-FM vs JR XR3i

I have posted before about 3 channel radios. Here are my two choices. I have an E-Maxx and I am buying a mini (Mini-T or RC18T). I want to use one of these radios for both. Which one would be the best choice. The Futaba says it has a micro receiver.

Thanks.

both basically have a micro receiver, that doesnt mean that the receiver is only for a micro car, it just means that it is super small. My personal choice is the futaba. I just dont like the feel of the JR radios, they feel too much like toy radios.

Thanks for the input, I am kind of leaning towards the Futaba. Another quick question. Will either of them work with the transmitter that comes in the E-Maxx?

Thanks for the great advice.

Is the stock radio system FM and run on the same frequency band as the radio you wish to buy? I could see the reason for swapping receivers but the Futaba or JR Transmitter is so much better, as there are many options available. I believe the Futaba even has more options than the JR and is cheaper.

No neither will work with the stock Rx because the traxxas is AM and the Futaba is fm.
