airtronics mx3s or futaba 3pm
all right, been shopping for a new radio, i want fm, its for a rs4 3 18ss. at my lhs they sell the futaba 3pm and airtronics mx3s, i know i want either one of these. the mx3s is only $20 more, i like the features of the futaba more, such as lap counter and abs, although i dont know if i'll use abs ever. however, i like the lcd screen and menus of the mx3s, and its also synthesized for only $20 more. i do occasionally plan to run my car at my lhs's parking lot track on weekends, but mainly bashing.

I have the 3PM from Futaba and love it. Never have I been dissapointed with a Futaba radio system. (surface/air)
For you, I would say it all depends if you want a synthesized radio.

For $20 dollars difference, go synth. No question about it.
For another good radio in that price range, have a look at a JR XS-3. Synth as well, and i prefer it to the MX-3 (Which I also have).
Get your hands on both and see which feels right.
