Default fubtaba 3PK..which receiver is better

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy a Futaba 3PK system , its available with either reciever the R113ip or the R203HF.. I do intend to run this in a gas engine 1/5th scale car . Is one version better or more suited for the large spark ignition engines.. also at a later date I will be upgrading to the spektrum module and I know it can't be set on HR mode ..any advise?????

thanks

The R203HF requires all digital servos, but is faster than the PCM R111iP. Spektrum RC is also releasing an HRS module specifically for the Futaba T3PK.

unfortunatly the spektrum HRS module is not compatible with the telemetry system, and is only 2 channel.
i recomend the 3pks that is synthisized. its only a little more expensive than a non-synth version.

I would have liked that to (synthisized) but there were only two for sale one with the R113ip and one with the R203HF....my car is only equipped with 9402 servos which are annolgue so I went with the R113ip rx.

telemtry in cars I can live without ... and when I upgrade to the specktrum module and rx I wont have to worry about synthisized.. I know it's not as good as the hrs system but I think I can live with the slighly lower speed and it will save me having to get digital servos

thanks mkincy and Tigger
