Default Airtronics MX-3FHSS vs Futaba 3PM FASST

I see that Airtronics is coming out with the MX-3FHSS about the same time as the Futaba 3PM FASST. And for a little less $$. (I love competition) I may have to do a little comparison shopping.

I have used a Futaba before but never handled any Airtronics. I’m wondering about fit and feel. Does anyone with short fingers use the Airtronics and do you like the way it handles? Any other features that you like or dislike?

Thanks for any input.
DB

The Airtronics will be FASTER then the fasst because it is all digital throughput not analog to the RF section. As for the feel of the radio that is up to the end user.

Is the Airtronics compatible with anything but Airtronics receivers?

Airtronics is 100Hz same frame rate as Nomadio. However, Nomadio is the only system now on the market that can change formats on 2.4Ghz to talk to other receivers.
We can go Nomadio, spk, and soon Airtrix we are working on going Fut.

Great value add. Will an older React radio be able to be upgraded to work with Airtrix and Fut? Will the firmware be upgradeable by the user or will the radio have to be returned to Nomadio for the update?
