TOP SPEED Kyosho Scorpion w/5400kv brushless 39mph video
Just a quick test of my Kyosho Scorpion 50th Aniversary car with 5400kv motor.
I originally had the Novak sensored brushless system in the car and it ran fine for over a year but always had this extra RC Gear Shop 5400kv motor sitting around. I decide to try it in the Scorpion since it was light weight and the fixed gearing seems to be very low.
It worked great and is a lot more fun to drive now. This cars tranny seem to be able to take the beating from the 5400kv motor albeit the Chinese no name speed controller may not be putting out true 80A continuous but it does spin the rear wheel on up to full speed.
