Kyosho Nitro Blizzard
Nothing big, just running in a parking lot. Didn't go off road because I forgot to cover the receiver.

RE: Kyosho Nitro Blizzard
It's the Kyosho Nitro Blizzard, but it was discontinued in 2000. I bought it in 1999 and had it boxed in my closet until last week, and finally decided to put it together. I wasn't too pleased with the suspension for the bogey wheels though... looks like future problems.

RE: Kyosho Nitro Blizzard
Well, i drove it up the curb pretty easy, and it went over a concrete parking thing pretty easy. I haven't taken it off road yet because I forgot to waterproof the electronics and it has been raining here for the past 2 weekends so the grass was all wet. I think the manual said it can handle 45 degree inclines.
I'll post more next weekend, weather permitting[8D]

Yeah, I guess the tranny is geared more for torque than speed. The engine is only a GS11X also. I have a feeling that if it went fast, there would be major problems with the treads.

RE: Kyosho Nitro Blizzard
I have recently added an O.S. engine because i have been having problems with the connecting rod snapping on the stock engeine. The nitro blizzard is fun to drive around off road and in the snow, but it gets aggrivating to keep on replacing the connecting rod and the inner piston. That cost about 40.00-60.00. I have replaced it about 7 times. When i put the O.S. engine on it i have not snapped a connecting rod and i have had no problems with it for about a year. It has increased the speed and the torqueI love driving it in the snow and i am looking for a home made plow to buy for it. Does any one know where to get one?[]
