cool but really hard on the ears plus you didn't really open it up all the way, and it was short but still cool.

The camera is a Sunrich eDVR USB camera. Holds about 5 mins of 30fps video and audio.
Built in lithium battery that charges everytime you dump the footage to pc.
The cam has been in some major RC car/plane crashes and hasn't missed a beat.

I'm thinking about buying the eDVR camera. I wonder if you have been happy with it? Any shortcomings I should know about it? Thanks!

Rommec - where are you going to get it from? I would like another one, but I can't find them for sale anywhere.
They're great cameras (for the money), mine is still going well and has been in some pretty bad plane/Mini-Z/Mini-T accidents.
Thje only thing to watch out for is that the lithium battery doesn't die from not being charged. I left my camera in a drawer for a couple of months and the battery died completely, and would no longer hold a charge. It only cost me $9 to put in a new battery - but it was a pain.
There's some more onboard mini-z videos of mine here: http://vimeo.com/user:kerosene

I see them appear on ebay now and then. Thanks for the feedback on the camera. What kind of lithium does it take? I hope its not a special order type. I may modify it to plug into a standard RC receiver channel for power. Great videos on your site, especially from the slowstick. That little camera does a nice job! It just doesn't seem to like looking in the direction of the sun.

I can't remember what the battery is, but I got it from allerc.com. It was cheap, and easy to solder in. BUT if you charge the camera often enough (monthly should do) you'll never need to replace the battery anyway.

I generally agree with letting old threads die - but not many people have these cameras, and they sure aren't hanging around here waiting for new threads to pop up.
