It wasn't nearly as cold as the last time we make a video with the same title, but it was cold enough, and the snow sure made it hard to bash properly and keep our vehicles running. We still had a good time though!

We just used balloons around the ESC and receiver, the steering servo and motor are exposed.

In defense of the Genesis, it was still running very rich as we were still in the break-in mode. And the shock oil needs to be WAY thinner! We'll do a full thrashing of it as soon as possible.

The Genesis is still in break-in mode and the LST had some electrical problems so we didn't get much of a test on either one. The LST, from what we've seen so far, is very powerful, fast, and handles great. The Genesis is a behemoth that's really not set up too well from the factory. The shock oil is WAY to thick, the brakes need some attention, and the steering is disappointingly limited by, it seems, the stock radio. The wheels can turn pretty far before they're physically limited, but the radio will only let them turn about half as far as it should, even with the dual-rate maxxed out.

We'll attend to those issues and start leaning it out ASAP so we can give it a fair assessment.

Yes, that's a Mamba Competition X brushless system in the RC18T running on the stock battery pack. We'll be running Lithium-Polymer batteries in it soon, which should really boost the performance!

I was getting impacient waiting for your next vid. Everyday i checked but for ages then i saw this and wet my pants!. [sm=drowning.gif]
just finished watching it, really nice. Sometimes i wish i could wake up and see that much snow all over the ground. But then again i may not. I didn't see the regular vehicles like the savage and storm sut.
I think soon im going to the snow soon i'll definately get my savage in but i don't think my new mbx-5 will be in it.
And again cool video.

Thanks Nitro D. I'm not really sure why the Savages didn't make it this time around. Lack of time and our desire to try different vehicles, I guess. The SUT didn't make it because it's completely disassembled on my workbench. The Savages and SUT will be back in action soon, though!

Yep i agree with everyone else..
That would make for a great way for the inexperienced to practise thier jumps and still get some soft landings in the snow..
Im gonna show the vid to mi bro cos he a RC18.. Im still toying with the idea of getting a genesis (3rd Batch of course) If you make a nice vid of the genesis please let me know cos id love to see one in action some more... Be interesting to see how well it wheelies..[:@]
