New SMF Video - R/C X Games!
Well guys, here it is. It's big. It's huge. Is almost 57mb and over 13 minutes long from beginning to end.
This is the video from the 1st Annual FHF Racing R/C X Games put on by FHF Racing. It's not exactly your typical type of racing. Mostly typical, except for the huge jump on the track. No, it's really really huge! It's so big that you really don't get how far they are falling back to the ground. There were also jumping contests, a truck pull, and a spud run. Lots of fun was had!

There was one very small class of stock electric stadium truck racing at the R/C X Games, but there were only a few entries and it just wasn't all that exciting to watch or film. Maybe if they raced mod motors it'd be better? They tried an electric MT class in 2004, but there wasn't enough interest.
The "Fighting Gravity" DVD took so much work to create we're still recovering, but we're definitely considering making another one!
Thanks for the support.

The directions and all the other information about the 2nd Annual R/C X Games will be on the FHF Racing website, which is at www.fhfracing.com. The info is pretty thin right now, but we'll be adding a bunch of still pics from the 2005 event along with pricing, classes, and everything else.
If you need the location right now, it's in Cambridge, MN which is about 45 miles north of Minneapolis. Take Highway 65 to Cambridge and go east on Highway 95 about a mile, and the fairgrounds are on the left (north) side.
Yeah, we live in Minnesota, in suburbs of Minneapolis. Where are you located? Must not be too far if you have a cabin in Hinkley! Mmmmm, thinking of Hinkley makes me want some of TJ's carmel rolls!

-nice-
wow that was a huge jump. I think they should have made a dirt landing, not as many people would have crashed. one mess up on that one and your car goes flipping.
the tractor pull was a good idea. (looks like the LST walked away with that one) and I liked the sloped turn.
also, I hope the electrics get more popular. gas has the wow factor though since they are faster and have a real motor.
