Default Compilation video.....

This video is a compilation of some of the better pictures we've taken. I got some new video editing software for the Team, and I was dying to try it out. I just went around and took a bunch of graphics off the server and used them in this little video of mine. Let me know what you guys think. The music is new from Nickleback, and the editing is the best we've ever done........

The name of the movie is Compilation, just in case you were wondering.

wow, nice work

What editing software is that?
Did the transition effects come with it or did you make them?

That was cool with just pictures, can't wait to see edited video.

Well, the program is called muvee autoproducer. It's a really good program, but somwhat cumbersome to use if you're trying to get anything done with extensive film cuts. It's great for slideshows, because it can do things like that. The effects in the video were computer generated, but the base for the technology to work off of is user initiated. In other words, it puts in the graphics, I have to manually select the best portion of the image to highlight and outline. I also must determine the path the "Camera" will take over the image. The path can be chosen automaticly, but the program isn't quite smart enough to get it right... So I have to do it.

Nice work Platinum,almost flash-like.

Ever thought about embedding a player directly on the webpage? Bet you'd get more views that way. Just a thought.

You can try this code if your interested,

Code:
<EMBED src=http://www.teamplatinumracing.com/Compilation.mpg width=320 height=280 type="text/plain; charset=UTF-8" autostart="0" controltype="1" showcontrols="1"></EMBED>

Since you're the second person to ask that, I think it's what we'll do. 2 people in 2 days about the same movie, sure, why not. Our server isn't the best around, so it'll take a little while to buffer, but it's worth a shot.

I think I'll try it first, but chances are I'm just going to use your code from now on, thanks!
