Default Hotshot Going Full Forward W/Controller Off?

Hey Guys,

Two question's I've got here that are of concern. I am in the final building stages with my hotshot so I just wanna make sure that these two bugs are worked out before final assembly, paint, etc.

1. When I'm going full throttle forward, than slam it in reverse, it will not go in reverse right away like it would if I was initially going reverse, than slammed it full forward, it does it right away. Is this normal? It appears I have to place the lever in neutral before heading all the way to reverse.

2. Bigger concern here- WhenI turn the controller off, the car will go wide open throttle forward all by itself! What did I do wrong here? I'm guessing it's a must that I turn the car off first, than the controller?

1. There is usually a delay in going from forward to reverse so that you don't damage the ESC and the tranny.

2. NEVER turn the radio off before you turn the car off and unplug the battery.
