Default Tamiya Avante 2011!!!

Haven't seen any threads on this great car. Love mine. It gets run, not a shelf queen. I think this car is such a great blast from the past. All stock. Please share your pics, vids, tips, and tricks.

The only thing keeping me away from this kit is the price. What did you pay for yours? I've seen them for up to $500.

I had the original back when it was first released.

I paid $414. I wasn't too concerned with the price. This is a car I always wanted back in the day but couldn't afford. I didn't let it slip by this go round. LOL

That's too much for me. That's more than I paid for my Tamiya Tundra. If i see a deal somewhere I might pick one up but at $400 and up I can wait a while.

I had to get one too, I wanted 2 but at the time I ordered Tower was in limited supply and said I could only get one, now that I have other things going on I have to put the second one on hold for now but at least I have one........

Sweet! Be sure to post some pics once you have it built. I really enjoyed the build. Typical Tamiya, went together smoothly. Just be sure to loctite everything per instructions.

It handles very well for such an old car. It pushes a little but very easy to drive. Very responsive to the throttle just like my full size Evo.
