Rare 1970 Dynamic RC 1/8 On-Road Nitro Car
#1
Hello,
I've had this in my collection for a bit and am just getting around to fully researching. I know there's some great knowledge here, so I thought I'd share. I have a 1970 (purchased spring 1970, have original receipt) Dynamic Models (North Hollywood, CA) all-metal frame gas kit car. I don't have the body, only a wing, so I cannot tell if it's the Matra Ford Formula Kit or the McLaren MKBA Sport Kit. I'm assuming Matra kit with McLaren body as I have an original receipt stating so. The rolling frame is assembled and all original. I purchased it from the original owner a while back. I have a bunch of original documentation and provenience information. If I do have the original engine then it is literally blown in half, missing the top half for ID. I do have the original flywheel and some other various parts, including a sealed brake kit. I'm in the process of researching it further and just wanted to share and maybe get some additional information. Eventually I'm going to find it a good home, someone who will appreciate this historical artifact as much as I have. Feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures. It's been very difficult to find others as they don't come up too often.

I think I'd be real careful with that. Parts would be nearly impossible to find. Very cool car, though.

I really want to get this into the hands of someone who can take care of it. I've gone ahead and started a listing for it!

That would be easy to convert to electric but it would be a travesty to do it. I couldn't do it. I couldn't even convert an rc10gt and that's common. I converted an old Rampage to electric several years ago and still feel bad about it. Someone that collects should end up with this.
