I can't be the only one out there with a Losi,
Here's mine It's a Losi Jrx-Pro, has a Jrx 2 rear 5 link, yokomo rear adaptors, Pro-SE front arms. had it since 1991

Don't worry I've replaced the front tower with a brand new one since this photo.

i have a big soft spot in my heart for the jrx2. i got rid of mine years ago and regret it.
i'd love to find another, with the 5 link of course.
the jrx2 really shook up the racing world back in the day, gold pan rc10's had trouble keeping up with the wider jrx2.

well "the losi has landed"!
i'm freak'n excited. it's in amazing condition for a car that was run. the gearbox looks brand new, the diff is smooth as butter.
even the notorious shock shafts are ok. i'll replace the cartridges and shafts anyway.
i picked up an xerun speed controler so i can run my sensored motors is it as well as a repro body.
all i need to find is a wire for the wing.
now it's time for a couple of minor (reversible) mods so i can run 2.2 b4 wheels and tires, then i'm off to the track.

Hi everyobody! This is my first post. The JRX-PRO looks great!! My dad, brother and I used to race every saturday morning in the early 1990's in Illinois. Last year I was visiting his home and he popped open a large tupperware container with all 3 of our cars, the told toolbox loaded with tires, shock oil, motors, batteries, chargers, radios etce tc. He kept his Double XX but I took my brother's Double XX and my JRX Pro. I have a Futaba radio, my brother had a Airtronics. We both had Tekin TSC 411G, which was state of the art at the time. Mine broke, so I need to get a new one. Any suggestions? This is a trip putting everything back together. These buggies are outfitted with Hydradrives and all sorts of small upgrades. Anyway, I'm glad I came here. I will post pics soon.

This Losi is almost done. I still need to get some new turnbuckles, new screw kit, and a gear cover. Does anyone have a spare gear cover they wanna sell? Thats the only part that I can see having a hard time finding.

thanks, i love that car. but i race all my vintage stuff so it won't look that nice for long. lol
in the past few months i've added some cool cars to my vintage racer collection, the most recent are a mint rc10t and a mint rc10ce.
all of which i will race, even against modern race buggies/trucks. the 10t is still a competitive club racer and tough as nails.

Glad I found a Losi thread on here.
XX4 isnt quite a vintage yet, but the car is 12 years old. In 1999 is when the car came out I beileve.
The XX4 is better than the XXX4 G+, when I bought it on RCtech I got the Corr Truck Conversion
for it. And the Ford Heavy Metal Body.

I learned on another forum how to make an old beat graphite chassis look good as new. All it takes is some carbon fiber vinyl (I bought mine on ebay for $8 for a roll). Heres some before and after pictures. Not too bad huh?

WOW!!! This thread brings back alot of memories for me. I should start selling my old stuff. It's a shame as it's not original, like everyone else the modifying never stopped. Ended up with a JRXT/LXT hybrid. I should find a way to restore these graphite chassis. Like most, the underneath is not perfect.</p>
