RE: THE IS IT A KYOSHO RAMPAGE???? THREAD
that chassis ids definately a rampage but the model surpasses me...
if it were the gp10 (buggy) it would have a small sinle front bodymount
if it were the outlaw rapmpage it would have a large plate at tye front with body posts on it
but because of the front shock mounts it looks to be the gp10
also the servo arrangement on that truck is quite odd, the throttle servo is where the steering servo should be and those bodyposts look home made. it will look brilliant with a good clean up and some parts sourcing on ebay (search kyosho rampage) for the small pieces you might need
when they are sorted ou they are so much fun to drive, i hope you get it sorted

Thank so much for the info, it's in the process of getting an expert clean (by a friend of mine), im a bit upset though to find its a makeshift model as i wanted it to be an original set up so i could restore it properly, i will carry on searching for more infoermation on it and would really appreciate any more information members have to offer.
Thanks again
STEVE
PS the tyres are in brill condition

actally it is in really good origional condition, its just got some home made body mounts and a starange place for the servos to be mounted.

RE: THE IS IT A KYOSHO RAMPAGE???? THREAD
that looks insane!
the model name is RAMPAGE GP-10
i have a couple of these buggies and they are not bad on parts availability for some things......such as drive belts (very occationally break) and the main chassis parts but other smaller pieces are quite hard to find such as wheels and tires. still waiting on those
from what i can see you need:
wheels and tires
bodyshell
decals
things called 'damper stays'?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kyosho-RM-3-As...item43a0ef41b9
and a small strip of aluminum that runs from the front plate to the servo mount, this also attaches the 'dampaer stays'

here is my OUTLAW RAMPAGE TRUCK
http://s845.photobucket.com/home/djyjrlz/index
there are a few differences such as, a bigger fron body mount and longer shocks on the front, the electronics in this are original and all still work well (if a little slowly)
lots of fun to drive!

If you plan on making your Rampage a runner, get a spare belt or two. There is a seller on eBay vending aftermarket belts. Few original belts remain.

made in korea or something and they are dirt cheap... might have to get a few myself
although my truck has a slipper pad to stop the belt breaking

Dude, that brings back memories! That was my first nitro truck! Def Outlaw Rampage. The only model I ever saw that had that little lever in the exhaust manifold that opened when you went full throttle off a linkage to the carb. (your's is removed like mine was and placed a screw in it) That was a great model. I bashed the daylights out of it. Mine, I actually did the diesel head to it and started by bump start.
