RE: Control line or RC?
Thanx for the reply and the links guys. say, a few years back they had a product called cms airwar system that used infrared onboard virtual "bullets". is anyone familiar with that? seems lie a laser tag kind of setup without the laser a i recall.

Some of the light, electric people are playing with the infrared sensors, but there is no organized competition and it's not even a provisional AMA/RCCA event. They may be developing it on side but as of right now, it's just a novelty. RC Combat is "streamer cut" just like CL combat. That makes it easy to count cuts, etc. JOIN US and have FUN!

I'm flattered you've heard about control line combat.. I figured the RC version was a great deal more visible these days.
