Default NATS

i'm considering coming to NATS this year, and would like to confirm the schedule.

ssc - 17th
open b - 18th
2948 - 19th
limited b - 20th

is this correct? do we need to show up early for tech inspections?

thanks,
-Paul F.

July 17th - SSC & Open B ( usually in that order )
July 18th - SSC & Open B ( usually in that order )
July 19th - Limited B & 2948 Scale ( usually in that order )
July 20th - Limited B & 2948 Scale ( usually in that order )

Often times, there are people available to do the tech inspections the day before and also in the morning of the event. Tech inspections often occur prior to each class as needed is you need to add another plane to your fleet of after a major motel room repair. I believe we usually try and get started about 8am, at least be there and mostly set up by then.

No more 2610?
They dropped 2610 a little while back, at least at the NATS and all of the eastern events I have attended. There is a group in the northwest that still does it, but I think 2948 has almost replaced it in most areas. A couple years ago or so. I was not into participating in scale at that time, so the changeover timing did not impact me, thus I paid a little less attention to the omission.
