Combat Glow Plug Igniter

While at combat meets I get asked about my home made glow plug igniter. Here's a brief tutorial:
I start off with a cheap multimeter, 2- 5000 mah sub C 1.2v nimh batteries from Cheapbatterypacks.com, and a 1/2 A glow clip.
Assemble as shown and attach batteries to the back of the multimeter case. I hang the multimeter from my starting stand.
Before each heat, I can check to see if the glowplug is functional by selecting the amp reading function on the multimeter, that way I know that the glowplug is ready to go at the start engines call.
