GAMA Turkey Shoot 2025 is complete!
10 rounds of Lim B and I think 5 rounds of E-1000 provided plenty of RC Combat action at a slightly soggy venue. We did indeed luck out to get our rounds in between rain storms in the early morning and then again later in the evening.
Thanks to Dan, George, Sharon and the GAMA crew for making it all happen.
8 pilots made for some really great LimB combat.
Attrition took its toll but everyone worked hard to get back the air for next round when possible and to help others when it wasn’t. What a great group of guys!
One take-away was the number of experienced glow pilots at this event and the thirst for glow knowledge by others. Glow powered combat will dominate future RC Combat events. We are already working on next years schedule that includes SSC, Warbirds and 25 size Open. E1000 will make an appearance too.
Get ready men! You’ve got all winter to build airframes and get your glow engines out and tuned up ready for next years busy combat season. See yall at the 3 day Lone Star Nats 3rd weekend in March!
