Has anybody heard of an Infared Combat Rig? If so, where can I find one? Hopefully online.

For those who don't know... An infared combat rig is a method of dogfighting but using infared signals and when an opponent is 'hit' a streamer falls out. I know about this from posts but I don't know ehere to buy it. Can anyone help me?

Your question has intrigued me so I did some web surfing and I came across I think what you may be looking for. I've never bought anything from this company but its the only thing I've found so far.

Check under AIRWARS.

I might have to consider getting 2 of these. Though I'm questioning what they use for sensors and where they are placed on the plane.

Thanks for the link.

Most likely, the sensor is a 'light meter' of some sort that measures red light. According to the instructions, one sensor (the 'gun') is placed either on the leading edge of the wing or at the tip of the nose. The target sensor is on the trailing edge of a wing or at the end of the fuselauge.

Look at this [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1148584/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#1293745]link[/link]. A president of some company is willing to develop a system tailored to our needs.
