for what it's worth
I have no patience when building ssc planes and will do anything to save time
We all seem to like the coro fuses around here and theyre plenty light
I have started using zip ties to fasten my plywood or cutting board motor mounts to the fuse. The mounts just slide up inside the fuse and I drill 6 holes through the fuse and mount and then run zip ties through them, getting them good and tight. It holds just fine and really quick too, I just flew my plane into the ground yesterday and the 3 zip ties held just fine.
