Default Ventury or not??


Is it ok to use a Venturi for open b in place of the carb, i have a shut off system on it?

Yep, it's allowed. As long as you can kill the engine on command.

(of course, it's also OK for those of us who have throttle control to dive down to the deck and throttle back, while the venturi guys go shooting helplessly by. Works great late in the round, when you want to stay away from someone who you know can't throttle ).

thank you for the info.
i have two os 25fxs with throtle and two norvels with venturi(lost the carb barrels on tham) the norvels are backups to os's. cant find carbs fast enough for the paris.
