Slow Survivable Combat
The 2 favorites are the Mag 15XL and the OS 15LA from what I've seen so far. Some are saying the OS is more trouble-free and durable than the Mag. They say the OS turns a 8x3 prop better, but I can't say one way or another if this is true. They both seemed evenly matched at the Tyler SSC meet this past Saturday. You probably can't go wrong with either one....

I will third the motion on Magnum .15's. Heck, I am running one on my Open-A plane even, just because I can almost buy 3 of them for what one OS CV-A costs, and it runs soooo good.
Only problem I have had with Magnums is the carb, ya gotta keep track of all the screws. I have had them loosen up on me and bind up the carb barrel, etc... on my .28's

I too use a Mag. 15 on my SSC Bandito. but I don't rely on the original carb. needle which is just about one click from crap. The adjustment of the Mag. needle is too coarse. I use an OS RNA and a pressure bladder system so it doesn't make any difference to me. You can read all the details of the system here http://www.rccombat.com/forum/topic....=Modifications

Thojo, you have a good question there 
I good piece of ammunition for all the earlier whiners about bladder systems being an unfair advantage. 
We may have to take this all the way to the "Technical Committee" for a "official" opinion.

The engine is still box stock, since the original carb is not modified. The addition of the OENA (Off Engine Needle Assembly) is just an accessory,,,IMO,,,,which probably doesn't count for much

That falls in the same catagory as the prop nut. In the box, the engine is equipped with a prop nut and washer...but from personal observation, I've seen an awefull lot of guys (me included) using non-stock spinner nuts
