Is anyone flying these and are they a decent plane? I'm not flying combat but looking for a small plane to knock around with. Any comments welcome.
Thanks
Jim

This is a good cheap smaller plane to knock around with. I use mine as a basic sport plane, and a back up for combat. the quality is better than you would expect for the modest price. Well behaved in the air.

The only problem i had with mine is the plug for the tank shrinks over time (a few months) so it would be a good idea to check on it every couple months.

It is easy to toss together, light,

What about the low speed characteristics? Does it tip stall?
I have an OS 20FP that should pull it around OK. What engine are you running?

I'm using a 28. I don't have much experience with smaller engines, but the plane is pretty light, so i suspect it will fly with a 20, but they all fly better with more engine. Give it a shot, just keep it light, (350 mAh battery, mini servo on throtle...) and don't do the cowl untill you are sure you like the engine.

Low speed flight? why would you want to do that?! it lands slow if thats what you are asking. Never seen this plane tip stall, it tracks nice. Good inverted performance.

Getting into the air can be a pain if the wheels aren't perfectly alligned, it might be worth the effort to engineer a tail wheel (comes with a skid)
