This is a pic of a Gremlin that I modified by adding a tail with working elevator. It flew great and seemed more stable than the standard Gremlin while dogfighting. It also didnt add any more noticeable weight. Its powered by a Magnum XL .28. The tail section is made of 4mm coroplast with balsa tri stock. I also fly a Gremlin that I modified by adding the verticle fins to the wingtips. This design also flew well but the tail version is my favorite by far. A few of our other Gremlin fliers have show interest.

That looks good, I like to fly Gremlins and will have to give that mod a try. Wouldn't require a computer radio either.
Do you still balance it at the same CG location?

Nope it dont require a computer radio or a slide like the standard Gremlin. I'll include a pic of the way mine is setup. And I balanced mine exactly as I would balance a regular Gremlin and mine flew great the first time.

That Texas flag plane looks alot like a design than one of our members fly thats called a Predator. The wing is more swept than the Gremlin,... but it sure looks good, and the one ive seen flies great. I actually trimmed the fin by 1 1/2 in to decrease drag somewhat. But the turn radius is suppurb now, which in combat is what ya really need.
