Default Nationals Combat?

I am planning on attending the 2007 AMA Nats and have a question about the schedule. On the RCCA schedule it say's "day 0". What is that suppose to mean? Why don't they just say the date? Pretty idiotic to me, but I must assume that day "0" is the day before the 1st day of actual competition. They should have it read "Day 0 (6-12-07)" or something like that.

Why not ask on the RCCA forums? If your confused by the posting on RCCA then why ask here? Seems pretty idiotic to me.

Because the pathetic excuse for a website they have now will not allow me access despite my membership and several attempts to get a clean password.
My schedule information was posted by the RCCA on the AMA website to inform prospective competitors of when they should be there. Day zero appears no where on my calendars!

I don't have any problem accesing any area of the RCCA website. Have you contacted Chris at: [email protected] to help with your problem? Or Bob at: [email protected]
Is your membership up to current?

You can also go to the AMA site for all of the schedules and times.

Day Zero, as they put it, is indeed the day before scheduled competition.

Also anyone can post questions on the RCCA forums. You do not have to be a member. There are a few "members only" areas of the website, but most, including the forums regarding the NATS are open to everyone.

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you continue to have any problems with the RCCA web site. I have sent you a PM with my personal contact info.

Thursday July 12, 2007 is "Day 0"

Check the AMA calendar for a daily listing of the RC combat events through Day 4, July 16, 2007.

Sorry for the course comments, and thanks for the reply Lee and Randy. When I printed the info I was having a frustrating day at work and that seemed to add to it as I was trying to get my vacation time submitted.
I re-joined last summer and I guess my main issue with the website is that it never seemed to update. I go to the forums occasionally but I have no access to the members sections.
Hopefully Randy I will see you at some upcoming events in Denver.

The first local sanctioned event of the season is at Airpark Elite on Saturday. Come on down and start working on your form for the NATs [8D]

You have to e-mail Don or Chris to get the special code for the members only areas, its different than the forum password. I talked with Don a week or so ago and he is working on trying to make one password work for everything.

See ya at Nats...

Missed you at Airpark. Next local sanctioned meet is May 5th at Mile Hi RC Club in Aurora. You've got some of the best pilots in the nation to learn from right in your backyard.....

On April 21st you could fly with some more of the best in Salt Lake. Not that bad of a drive for some great combat...

You're gonna need practice before you go to the NATs......

Yes Randy, I missed the last one. I had some significant other birthday issues. It sounds like it went well. Good thing the forcast was wrong.
I will be at the event in May for sure, and will try to get to most of the sanctioned meets for the rest of the season. I love to pylon race as well so that may interfere a little.
I have quite a large group forming in the Ft Collins area and expect 7 pilots to fly combat this coming Sunday. It will be nice to be able to get in some practice at my own home field. This has spawned over night and should be great for Colorado overall.
One thing, I want to go to the Nats mainly to go to the Nats. I want to see the flying site and the museum. I just want to take a road trip and get away for a while. If I do OK fine. If I do not Fine. I just want to go fly and have fun with some of the old combat guys I have not seen since the Billing's contests back in the beginning.
