Mariner,
Just like you, I have been flying for about three years. My dad and I started flying combat about 2 years ago with the FNS. A lot of the way a plane flies is how you set it up. I went to Wichita KS to meet the two SPAD gods Kraut and Tattoo. They were super helpful and I enjoy going down there for thier monthly combat meet. That is where I learned to combat, with a SPAD!
Currently, I am ranked in the top 10 in the nation for combat, and I would love to fly my Corostang or my flatbat against you in combat. I will have to ask my dad but I am sure he will give you a flatbat if you come to the combat meet in Smithville MO on June 28. It will be a lot of fun. The reason that I have to ask my dad is because I am only 15 years old but I can build SPADs, so I know you could also.

Yo Swampboy,
That was a good one and I hope that Mariner knows that any one posting here needs to have thick skin even when this is all in jest.
Take care and hope to fly with y'all some time.

Hey swampboy, The smithville meet is June 28. Mariner, if you can get some ships together, I am sure you will have a good time in smithville. We will allow up to .47 engines and will follow RCCA Class C rules. Let me know if I can help you.

Sheepy,
I would not miss it for the world. We will be there with streamers tied to everything so that mabey you can get a lot of cuts Sorry about getting the date wrong. I know that it is going to be a great time. Is Mrs Clean coming? Mariner, let me know if you plan to attend and I will see if I have a combat bird that you may borrow for the day, or until it's demise. I hope nobody is upset about the things that I said.

After all of the yahoo back and forth about SPAD's (and I have a couple too and love them) I am really suprised that no one (that I saw anyway....disclaimer in case I didnt see it....he he) mentioned the ZAGI! What a full contact combat machine.......... These things are almost indestructable.....
By the way, I will be moving to Springfield Mo this summer, anyone fly Zagi combat around there?
Check my avatar...not your common corro eh? Actually its a 48" Stop sign made of 1 1/2 foam covered with econo-coat and is now powered by a Webra 120 with a pipe......

Mariner,
I have some good news, I have a combat bird ready for you to use at the combat meet in smithville MO. It is a flat Bat with one foam wing and one SPAD wing both will fly like a dream. All that you would need to bring is your transmitter and receiver. How is that for a deal from a stranger? If you do not want to fly in competition then maybe after it is over? Want me to sweeten the deal? You can fly against the Swampboy and if you cut him then you can have the plane, minus the engine. The flat bat, I can not give you Swampboy's plane. If you have an engine that you would like to run then bring it and we will set you up.
