I can tell you that the Varathane diamond water based polyurathane will make foam fuel proof, that is what i use on the pink stuff before i use normal spray bombs on it, so far it stands up to 10% omega.

hsink,
Most guys use colored tape or econokote (or towerkote) over the Bi-Di tape to fuel-proof their planes. Another option is to cover the entire wing in Bi-Di tape so all of the foam and ailerons are covered. This is how we build our Battle Axes.
If you're going to use colored tape or econokote, I am personally partial to econokote becuase it is seamless and shrinks easily with low heat, but a lot of guys like the packing tape.
Note that adding either the econokote or colored tape over the Bi-Di will add a couple of ounces.

Well the pink styrofoam will actually not melt from the glow fuel, it just soaks in, the varathane i suggested above will seal the foam and also allows you to use spray paint that would eat the foam if there was no sealer, i usually use 2 coats of the varathane before spraying. The varathane dries clear-kinda cloudy so you could put this over the white foam and it will still look white.
