Default Stryker combat

Wait till you try the full contact Stryker combat with about five planes in the air and all you get is really close calls but the rush is really there

Try it with streamers. For me, dragging the other guys' streamer home is what it is all about.
Swept wing planes will need something to rake in the streamers with.

I have done the sonic combat. It is fun and a good challenge. I recommend it for anyone. I have an extra module if anyone wants to buy it.

No sir. We are using the leading edge of our planes module. [X(] Its FULL contact, haha. We get up there, and its like a hornets nest, and we try to hit eachother.

After loosing all electronics in that large field last weekend, including a spektrum reciever, we decided we better A.)streamer our electronics and B.) We are now going to begin using streamers. We recovered all the electronics, including the tiny spektrum reciever, but that was too close to for comfort. We are now going to start using streamers, I think more people will be willing to participate, and it will be cheaper! Haha. More pictures to come tomorrow evening!

How are you going to cut streamers with the rear mounted motor? Wish we had that around here lol with 20 dollar fuselages you can't go wrong.

We were planning on lining our leading edges with servo tape...double sided sticky tape.

I have pictures, I will upload them later tonight. We didnt get a new group shot, but still some good photos in general, just no combat ones.

Are those things expensive to crash???

We've been flying some spads with CNC foam wings and they have proven pretty rugged. We had a mid air and ove plane had a broken engine and the other guy taped his up and was in the next round.

20 bucks for a complete fuse. We almost lost a spektrum reciever, and Eflight esc one day.

But it did get a tad expensive, so we have gone over to streamers.

I was just wondering how the expanded foam stuff held up to combat.

My buddy and I designed these airplanes and we've been selling them to guys in the club for $45 bucks. So far we have only trashed one fuse, and the fuse that got trashed was previously crashed and the guy had a 25 instead of a 15 on it. It got trashed in a mid air and the other guy restarted his engine and kept going. It was almost a direct head on!

Last week we had a mid air and both planes kept flying. We think my rudder got the other guys wing. There was no damage to my plane and only a dent on the other guys leading edge.

We are flying 10 foot lead strings and 30 foot streamers. The think I love about flying combat planes is that I toss the whole airplane in the back of the truck and charge it at home. I never take the wing off it and I never clean it!

maybe we need to do that, our streamers were maybe 12 foot long, and taped directly on. Maybe we need to to go a leader, along with a 15ish foot streamer, get more trailing behind the plane, and fight that way.
