ive heard peple talking abot reenacting ww2 with rc planes but they dont know how to make the wings fly off in mid air.

i say get a small explosive and set at base of wing. then you fly with others that are riged the same way.

som one manes the explosive detintor and when you are flying away from the crowd hits the botton and boom there gose the wing when it looks like some one lines up to shoot like in the real do fights.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the AMA prohibits any kind on explosive apparatus on or in a RC plane. The separation trigger would probably need to be mechanical, but could be as simple as a servo retracting the retaining peg at the leading edge of the wing. In any case, I suspect that it would be dangerous and expensive - but fun to watch someone else do it.

buy a chep kit and try to get spechal permision from AMA.

yes that would be very cool but a plane without a wing would be very dangerous. an uncontrolable missle. that type of reckless flying would be and should be condemd by all flyers

its not my idea but the safty included to set the explosive off is mine the guy that was talkind about it at the feld said to use a timer.

i like my idea becase it lets you control wich way the plane is going when you set off the explosive.

I dont think you get the point. It does not make a difference were the nose is pointed, If you have worked with explosives you would know there are too many variables to consider to make it safe. Other than to have a protective wall for all spectators. There is a reason why this is not done. Not to mention homeland security. There are too many nuts out there now. To give the american people a justified reason to hate our hobby would be absurd. There are many genres of flying that have some great wow factor. Rule book RC Combat is a great 5 minute rush without explosives. Try to focus on flying skills not destruction.
