I am currently looking for spitfire kill symbols for my plane....
Any web site , pictures or info will be very help full.

Default Not sure what you mean...

If you have a Spitfire and want to put kill marks on it, they usually used either German crosses or Swastikas near the cockpit.

If you want a kill mark that signifies a Spitfire was shot down, the Germans usually painted small black bars (about 1.5" wide x 4" high) on the fin or rudder with a British roundel on the top of it. However, this was not a "Spitfire specific" marking as it applied to all kills of British planes (Russian kills had red stars, US kills had a blue circle with a white star, you get the idea...) and not all pilots used the bars or the nationality designators.

Somehow, I get the feeling this has less to do with scale kill marks, and more to do with rubbing someone's nose in something...

its something we do to show our kills at our club... a way to keep count...

I just got first place in a compation with 1200 points.. the sweet part was I got a new OS 25 FX.... great engine for speed....
i built a coro spit it flys like a dream..
we did'nt even have to use any trim on it!!!!
