I don't believe there is a max wing span but a max weight of 3.5lbs. Most are using a 64 or 72" wing.

the open B is the most common, I dont think open C is flown anywere, the setbacks are farther back for it. go to www.rccombat.com and the rules are there

Actually there are 2 towns that I know of that fly a modified OPEN C in Texas!
They use Avengers with .32 to .46 size engines for power. The wings are a standard 64" wingspan.

They get together twice a year for bragging rights over who is better

Electric combat is very popular and very competitive.

Go to http://www.rccombat.net/

Click on the Combat Forum tab, and scroll down to "SSC" and "Electric combat" forums........Lots of good info!

There are several E-combat kits available including:

http://texasflugwerks.com/ who kit the E-Falcon and E-warbirds

Gil at http://vinylimagez.com/ kits the ABC Assassin

http://www.airscharnell.com/team_scharnell_avenger.htm have the Avenger

http://www.treneffrc.com/ have the BattleAxe

Good luck, Dane McGee
