Streamer Attachment - help

Hey Guys,

Where is the best location for the streamer to attach? Close to the CG.....aft of CG.......top or bottom of fuse, will it work on the side? I've got a couple of SPAD Dogfighters to stick a streamer on. I've heard using a snap swivel and light fish line is the way to go.

Thanks for the help !

Rick

Streamer Attachment - help

Hi Rick,

We usually attach the streamer to the aft section, just under the tail. That way when you have an opponent's ribbon hanging off a wing tip, the drag from yours will still help to stabilize the yaw effect. I don't know how great the effect is, but it can't really hurt... :)

We use a strong but light weight string and tape similar to the following link. It seems to hold up rather well, even in repeated use.
