Hey Guys,
Where is the best location for the streamer to attach? Close to the CG.....aft of CG.......top or bottom of fuse, will it work on the side? I've got a couple of SPAD Dogfighters to stick a streamer on. I've heard using a snap swivel and light fish line is the way to go.
Thanks for the help !
Rick

Hi Rick,
We usually attach the streamer to the aft section, just under the tail. That way when you have an opponent's ribbon hanging off a wing tip, the drag from yours will still help to stabilize the yaw effect. I don't know how great the effect is, but it can't really hurt...
We use a strong but light weight string and tape similar to the following link. It seems to hold up rather well, even in repeated use.
