Cheap Speed Legends
Bolink legends I used to race against my friends on our street.Pretty simple, fast and squirrelly!!Set up with no diff and draglite style wheels up front and stock legends out back.Ran a 27t Streetspec or budget 17t motor on 17-2400mA/nimh 4-6cell packs ,cheap, cheap, cheap!. It's 4sale now but it was fun, fast and cheap!

RE: Cheap Speed Legends
Actually very fun and dusty!Guess I need to charge up and run her down the street to blow off that dust. Putting elects back in would help too.I've always considered[not that I would]using the original chassis as a template and making it all carbon fibre. That would make it look cool and funner[word fom my personal dictionary!]but not cheap anymore!Ohwell,,,

RE: Cheap Speed Legends
I havent seen any around here except for the nitro topfueler at a semi LHS.I've raced this one informally with some friends, kinda run what you brung, pretty quick with a stocker or quicker with a cheapy 17t and stock bushings[!?!].I have a new set of micro switches I may install in it, just tryin to decide if I want to keep it or not.Consretty basic and can only use Bolink Legend bodies, still available.Prosretty basic, durable as heck, and cheap/easy to outfit for speed.I've been runnin a straight axle/no diff in it and it did pretty well. Can get squirrely some times if the surface isnt somewhat clean, but doesnt have to be perfect.
