Default Mamba Max Pro test run

Dunno if I have posted this before, but I here's a test run of my Fine Design dragster on 2s2p A123 running a 8500kv sensored motor with the Mamba Max Pro.

When it goes out of the screen it sounded like it either flipped or something is dragging. What happened?

Other than that, nice vid. I ordered a Mamba Max Pro as well as the 9000kv motor. Going to put it in one of my electric dragsters and see what happens.

That's the nose scraping on the ground during braking.

Make sure you get the latest rebuildable motor from Castle, which has the updated rotor. The previous rotors had issues with snapping, due to it being overly hardend at the factory.

If I remember correctly, it was 54/10 32pitch gearing.

The gearing you suggested is a great starting point. Great choice in selecting the Walbern equipment.

I am hoping since it hasn't arrived yet (just ordered 2 days ago) that I will have the latest.

The sensored startup is one of the smoothest around. Sensorless startup is good, but the mamba shuffle still shows it's face once in a while. So a good sensored motor is recommended for instant starts. Kinda messes with my reaction time.
With sensorless motors I can watch the tree light and anticipate when the car will move. With sensored, I actually have to slow down my reaction before I pull the trigger. Something I haven't/can't mastered yet. Might be getting to old for it.
