What's better a low kv brushless like 3300 or simple 12t brushed. I can get a brushless system at lhs for 120 (dynamite fuze) or the novak super rooster with a descent 12t for around the same. Putting it in my tc3. Also if I get 6mm offset wheels and a 200mm body will the body and outside of the tires be pretty flush?

Screw that get a 9T brushless motor that is $70. It is a sensorless brushless motor, the hobbywing ez run. The 9T motor is the strongest motor you will ever need for a brushless in drifting in general. Anything over that is an overkill.

I run a 6.5T brushless in my cyclone, and a mod brushed 14T double(if I remember right) in my tc3. I was looking real hard at the dynamite 3300 earlier today. I think when I get the extra cash, I 'll pick it up and try it. As near as I can tell it is equal to a 13.5t brushless. Pretty close to a 19t stock I think... I would say the Brushless set up is the way to go... it's more efficient, and low Maintenance.

crazy nick,
Brushless. Kv rating is good.
Forget Novak. Crap.
To answer your second question, yes, the rear wheels will be flush. Go 3MM offset in front (no interference with wheel wells).
