Default Drifting Vs. Skatepark = :(

Well from the title alone I hope you guys get whats coming... I was at the skate park yesterday and decided hey I've got my Rc Car lets have some fun went out to the car got my Rc headed back inside and had at it I drove it around in the bowl did a couple small jumps with it when I got a suggestion from my friend he said put the pedal to the floor and lets see what you can do on one of these 7 foot vert ramps I was like sure what could possibly happen this thing is tough as hell well I will tell you what the hell happened I gunned it went up the ramp at a kind of sideways angle well I had a lot of speed by the time it got to the ramp and it launched off and flew a good 20 feet into a wall fell from there and got run over by a person on a bmx bike broke both control arms on the right side and my body is now useless lucky for me it wasnt the nissan silvia body but lesson learned I advise any and everyone never take your rc touring car to a vert style skate park I feel really stupid

Skate parks and BMX tracks are great for off-road trucks, not so much for touring cars... lesson learned.

Damn I just spent $150 on a new STi body. I'll be damned if I'm going to do ANYTHING stupid with it. LOL My Associated RC8e is my bash buggy. Being 1/8 scale that thing can handle some abuse. 1/10's, not so much LOL

Yah, leadfoot,

That was dumb, dude. I live directly across the street from a vert skatepark, and just don't go there. There IS, however, a BMX track behind it, that I run my rally cars in.

I would have thought you had seen the Youtube vids of guys running their drifters in a skatepark, and all they did was destroy their cars.

Keep that baby on flat pavement!
