Default TB-03 or MR-4TC SD??

Howzit guys. I'm still undecided on which kit I should get. I've been reading alot of forums about the MR-4TCSDand how ****ty the electronics are on that model. But I'm a beginner and wanna build my own car. Money is not THAT much of an issue since I have alot of it saved. I figure since I wanna grow with my car &customize it, I wanna know which has better Hop-up support. The Tamiya TB-03 or the Yokomo MR-4TCSD? I also heard of the TA-05 being a good starting point. Any recommendations would be good guys, thanks!!

MR-4TC SD Yokomo slides great, s****ty electronics??? it doesn't come with electronics, you add these yourself, Yokomos don't come RTR. You can get a lot of hop ups for the Yokomo and TB03 like aluminum alloy and CF main decks. I had both and I liked the Yok a bit better, especially for counter steer as you can get different gear ratios for it in a kit form. The only edge the TB03 had over the Yok is that the shaft ran a bit quiter in the TB03 than the Yok, Yok gears are a little noisy, but it doesn't affect anything, some guys actually like the noise, other will say what noise?

About upgrades:

If you get the MR-4TC the next great upgrade is the Type C upgrade, might as well buy the higher end Type C from the get go. The TB03 has a great CF deck upgrade and tons of aluminum alloy parts available, but it gets pricey, bringing this chassis into the price range of a higher end chassis.

If I had to choose amoung the three, Yok - TB03 and TA05, I would go with the TA05 because it has such a support group, tons of hop ups and handles sweet, you can easily convert it to VDF specs. But then again, if this is the route you plan, hopping it up, just go for the VDF now it will be cheaper in the long run.

Don't get me wrong I'm an upgrade freak, that's why I jump around from chassis to chassis so much, but if I had to do it over again on some of the chassis I've owned and stuck so much cash into I just would have bit the bullet fromthe get go and bought the higher end chassis first. For example I bought the VDF, because the Yokomo DRB was a bit too pricey, but between the cost of the VDF and the hop ups I put into it, I could have bought the DRB already and had some cash left over.

Thanks man, I don't wanna make a move I know I'd regret. Everyone from Hyper Drift is also saying to go & get a high-end chassis to save me the greif of spending more in the long run. But I DO wanna get hop-ups. I guess my decision is made. (sigh) And I hope it'll be the right 1. Will post pics of it when it comes in.
