Default Chassis identification

Just picked up this rc drift car a d I was told it was a tt01 but after viewing pictures it doesn't look like one. Anyone know what it is?
It has a duratrax remote and a tamiya esc, unbranded motor.

Thanks for any help!<br type="_moz" />

the motor looks like a standard tamiya silver can. they come with the yellow and green power leads and the drive train set up looks like a tt01 as well.

Yea, that's a Tamiya silver can. It comes with some Tamiya kits, that could be a vintage just look around

it does however look similar from pictures ive seen, the tub shape and the plastics over the center piece. however, it has the 'covers' on the front and rear that are not tt01 for sure. maybe it is some similar model made by tamiya which was not so known??

That is a Tamiya TB-01, which is an old chassis. I used to have 2 of them.

Did you get a body with it? Does it have a high ride height?

@ turboct - if you have a brushed motor... it's probably worn or stuck brushes
