What is a good rule of thumb for choosing the offset for running a drifter or just a touring car?
Also how good are the hpi drift tires

and how is the compound d tire vs the belted radial tires?

I got a HPI sprint 2 Flux that I just plan to bash with no serious racing or competition. And probably just drift (learner) and no competition.

Never go Hpi with your tire choice go for a set of Raikou drift tires look them up their great drifting tires and dont worry about the offset of your tires unless you get a different bodyshell they come in two different widths usually the stock one is 190 millimeters wide and the other ones you buy yourself are normally 200 milimeters wide but you can usually find them in both sizes
