Default HPI Sprint 2 drift

Hello everyone, im a beginner to the rc world. im looking for a few pointers on how to make this car a little better in drifting. also i would love to have the option on making it faster even if its not drift. Recently bought an HPI sprint 2 drift, that i find to be pretty cool since im new to this (1 week new). now i would like a few pointers or recommendations on how to make this car better with a few bucks..

please post your thoughts.

i would go with a servo helps with more snap into and better control with the drift
you can get a pretty good one for 40 usd
another thing you van do for fairly cheap is change your spur gear or the gear on your belt drive that sits above the motor
hope this helps a little

Personally I would spend the little extra coin and get a savöx sc 1258 its about $70 but its very quick and has more than enough torque

i run a 90t it gives it a little more top end vs the stock 87t that it comes with and when you put it in make sure there is a little movement between the gears if you have them to tight you loose power because the motor is working harder due to the pre-load you have put on the gears
