Lightbulb HPI kits?

I've hemmed and hawwed a couple years now about getting a drift car, my last couple purchases when to rockcrawlers and helis. I was think about getting a drift car to mess around with at home and the office on my lunches in the parking lot. HPI has 4-5 RTR drift cars.... any opinions on them? Good buys? Any kit stand out from the other? Experiences?

The RTR kits are the real bottom of the barrel basic kits in my opinion and you would have to spend some decent money to make them in any way worthy. but I guess if you just want to for occasional mucking about with and nothing serious then go for it.

I prefer to build my own and use parts I know are going to last and as a result of building my own I know every inch of it and understand it better or setting it up.
