Question TT-02 Drifting Setup.

Hi all,

I've just purchased and built a TT-02 which I intend to mainly use for Drift but a bit of Touring also.

I have got some new metal bearings on order, I am now looking in to ordering a new ESC, Motor and LiPo battery, does anyone have any suggestions? From what I've read I'm going to have a better time with a sensored motor for drifting due to response.

Should I also look in to locking 1 or both of the diffs?

Is the drift upgrade kit from Tamiya worth it or is it worth waiting a bit longer and getting a 3rd party aluminium upgrade kit?

Anything else I might have missed at all? Thanks a lot in advance

Hey Ian,

For sure, lock the rear diff...and if possible install a one-way diff for the front.

Regarding the motor, sensored setups are the best.
