Default First upgrade/ motor issues

What should I get as my first upgrade, And what brand of motor should I buy from that has ok but a little expensive pricing 40-55$. What motor is ideal for power and speed and longer runtime on a 3000mah battery? I want a 10 turn for my Evader ST is that ideal for power, speed and runtime?

Thanks alot, Shredder111[>:]

I run a 12T Speed Gems. I hear stock silver can motors have enough power, but I haven't tried that out. As for the speed...you won't realy be going that fast if you are drifting. I'd say about 25pmh, after that you would need a really wide track to run on.
