I could quite easily say the same thing about trucks but we're all in this together dude, I like Drifting because after nearly 30 years grip racing, I got sick of wallet racing and petty rules
Just because you don't like something in our sport it doesn't mean you have to criticise it
...and yes, RC Drifting does require new skills, it's a whole new ballpark playing around with near zero traction AND looking good doing it

Get one 4WD car, stick ABS or PVC pipe over the wheels as tyres, set your cambers to 0° all round, add some bling (flashy shell, realistic wheels, lookalike brake disks, realistic exhaust etc. ) then try getting the car round corners - SIDEWAYS, controlling the *DRIFT* with input from both steering and throttle
It would be better to watch it in action dude => [link=http://www.frequency-rc.com/drift/sg3rd.mpg]SG Drift 3[/link] is the best I've seen

it doesnt take that long, for me it took a whole day. for me, i just go into a corner at medium speed and turn without trottle, once you see the back of it slide apply full throtle to help it slide, you may need to countersteer if you corner to much. after doing that you could apply full throttle and do 180's without using steering. im thinking of getting a buggie to drift. drifting isnt just for cars, its for trucks and buggies too- cars are just more popular but trucks and buggies require a little bit more skill and looks better than cars. but cars are cool too
(when i say 'full throttle', this means for electrics only. with nitros you would propally do something nasty to your car- or truck or buggie
)

Well, if you HAVE been paying attention to 1:1 drift videos, u would understand that E-BRAKING is essential to drifting to adjust angle and speed.

ebraking as in "power sliding," you can get in any car and pull the e brake and turn the wheel, but if "real drifting" worked like that, then people WOULD be drifting mini vans.

in truth there are many ways to start a drift like the e brake, in an fr car you can use it to start your drift and then proceed with tthe drift with out using it again, but in an ff you must constently use it to control your drift . there are other ways also like the shift lock, braking, feint, power over, and others. my fav is the feint.

easy there game nerds. Take it else where. This was a clean post and your stupidity has made it crap. You have nothing real to say about the post, then don't post.

Try reading the forum rules. I'm pretty sure in that thread it said that this is a family oriented site.
No posting unrelated topics
No profanity.
Oh, I forgot you didn't read the rules, nor care for them.
The last thing you posted towards me is pathetic. It has nothing to do with what I said.
