hey everyone im thinking about getting into rc drifting would would be a good but cheap car that i should look into

the tamiya tl-o1 ........like 96 bucks, lots of hop ups, and 4wd!

hey! or you should consider a TT-01 there round bout the same price and they drift great!! or if you want to spend a bit more money the TA04 are great race cars and with some PVC or ABS i'm sure they will drift GREAT to!!

for the 96 bucks i only get the car right i still have to buy a controler?? also can i get the tl-01 and the tt-01 at my lhs??

um..i think its just the kit..i would just look up at towerhobbies to check for a car if i were you

Yes, you can for sure pick up the tt-01 just about anywhere. I paid 74.99 for mine at my local hobby people, couldn't be more pleased. You'll also have to buy your radio and electronics i.e. servo & esc, batts and whatnot. I'm currently running the tt-01 impreza kit with hitec radio and electronics, a venom fireball 21 turn motor, bearings all around, some cheapie wheels on abs all sitting under an s15 body and i'm into it for maybe 230, somewhere around there. Don't forget eBay and other used sources, I found a TL01, w/ all electronics for $70. It wasn't too abused either. If you buy used make sure there are a lot of high quality pictures to back up the item. If your LHS has a for sale board you could post a wanted ad for a used TL01 and see what pans out as well.

In all I'm into my entire car only about $120, and the car has bearings, sway bars, adjustable upper arms, speed tuned gears, lightened chassis and a P2K2 Pro stock motor. Good cheap fun!
