I don't know if it would work though, because obviously fossil fuels also need an oxidizer to burn and the exhaust gases have already had their oxygen burned up by the engine.

I am picturing a jet turbine engine's afterburner right now, you know how they add more fuel to the exhaust and re-burn it for extra thrust hence the afterburners name. I know it would be for the looks of the flame though.

Yeah, and roto-starts are cheaters too! Real men use pullstarters! Oh and those cheaters with the rechargable receiver packs! Change your AAs once a week you lamers! And you cheaters with the radio control! Sit your ass in your little car and do the drifting yourself!

This thread has been the biggest disappointment on this forum yet. It's like a bunch of kids with block heads arguing stupidity. Sure, there's different ways of doing different stuff, and everyone has their own style and budget. I think too many people have forgotten what R/C is all about. Having fun with a smaller scale machine without having to spend the tens or hundreds of THOUSANDS on REAL cars. It doesnt matter how you do it, as long as youre having fun. Thats why its a hobby. Its not a contest to see who can hold the longest/best drift. Or who has the fastest car, or most expensive components. Its something that most people can afford to get into, whether it be a beginner car that most people will laugh at, or buddy's front engine nitro that he wants. To steal and modify a line from Vin Diesel in the fast and the furious, "Fun is Fun, whether it be by a penny or a dollar" (rubber or plastic?)

I came here to learn a little.... i'm going out to buy some ABS pipe tommorrow. why, because my apartment's parking lot is pitted and rough! plain and simple. i don't care how your car is set up one-sky, the one detail your young mind can't fathom is the surface your trying to drift on....
EDIT -- No bashing allowed.
